G.I. Joe’s Comeback Campaign

G.I. Joe’s Gym didn’t need a rebrand. They needed momentum.

Membership growth had slowed, and the gym needed a bold way to re-enter the conversation, rebuild excitement, and turn attention into action.

The objective was simple:
Get people talking. Get people back. Get new members in the door.

Most gym marketing talks to gym people.
We didn’t.

The Comeback Campaign was built for the people who had lost motivation or kept saying “I should go back.” The tone needed to be motivating without pressure, encouraging without guilt, and direct without judgment.

By keeping the message relatable and human, we positioned G.I. Joe’s Gym is approachable, not intimidating. A place where comebacks are welcome.

This commercial wasn’t background noise.
It was built to stop the scroll and the channel flip.

With a small team and a strategic budget, we produced a high-quality commercial designed to feel national, not local. Every detail, from concept to final cut, was intentional.

The spot ran on two local TV stations for three months, creating consistent visibility. Simultaneously, we pushed the campaign even further by pushing the spot on social media, meeting viewers again where they scroll.
